Recognition Opportunities
The Lawrence Chamber of Commerce recognizes the contributions of business to
our community by promoting business expansions and through business recognition
programs.
Foundation Awards
The City of Lawrence and the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce have partnered to create
the Foundation Awards, a program to recognize Lawrence businesses that have achieved
substantial job growth.
Technology, service, manufacturing and distribution companies that currently
operate in Lawrence are eligible to apply. To receive the Foundation Award, a business
needs to have achieved a 10 percent increase in the total number of employees or
have added 50 employees in the year prior to submitting for the award. The Mayor
of Lawrence will give the Foundation Award to qualified companies at a Lawrence
City Commission meeting.
