Douglas County Economic Development places a high importance on marketing the
community for the purpose of business attraction and retention. Our market strategy
includes cultivating relationships and promoting the benefits of doing business
in Douglas County.

We produced a commercial in conjunction with the Kansas Department of Commerce
that was seen in major alumni markets including: Chicago, St. Louis, Dallas, Denver
and Minneapolis.

attended the game.

We placed an ad in the KU Alumni Magazine to encourage alumni to Return to the
Nest. We will continue advertising in the magazine throughout the year.
