The Planning and Development Services Department has completed, and the City Commission has adopted, several important amendments to the City of Lawrence Land Development Code that affect the process of site planning in the City. These amendments are intended to make the process more reasonable and efficient for business owners to develop and renovate sites. The staff at the Planning and Development Services Department desires to meet with their regular site planning applicants in order to review
these amendments and share expectations of what makes a complete application in order to best serve them and their clients.
Two group sessions to review and discuss these amendments and site plan processing have been established on the dates noted below. Two sessions are scheduled to provide the applicants with an option to fit their schedule. Sessions are planned to be completed within 1 1/2 hours, and several city review agencies will be available to answer development related questions. A review packet will be distributed at the meeting.
